- Description:
- The City of Delta is soliciting proposals for inspections of Delta's bridge structures (both vehicular and foot bridges, MRN and Non-MRN), major culverts, major retaining walls and sound walls. Location maps for each structure are included. The successful proponent will inspect and produce a detailed report to describe the current conditions of the bridges, culverts, and retaining walls, with a recommended rehabilitation plan per structure, and a rehabilitation plan based on urgency. This assignment is to encompass but is not necessarily limited to the following deliverables within the required Engineering Services: Site Inspection to identify any pertinent points or recommendations for rehabilitation (if needed) for each structure including site photos, description of materials, dimensions, background information, and non-destructive testing; Remedial Work Activity List (for each structure) to verify the types of remediation needed including location, quantity, urgency, approximate unit price and corresponding photos for each structure; Maintenance Plan by Urgency to classify the bridges, culverts, and walls in order of urgency; and, Disbursements for which the Consultant shall be entitled to reimbursement by the City of Delta.
