Description:
The City of Quinte West (the ‘City-) is seeking proposals from a qualified multi-disciplinary Consulting Engineering firm to prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, tender documents, tender period assistance, and obtain all necessary approvals, while following the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) process as a Schedule A+ undertaking, for the replacement of the South Trent Street Bridge.
The consultant shall investigate all viable design alternatives, analyze the options, and recommend the preferred alternative as part of a Structural Design Report. The City is particularly interested in a pre-cast concrete bridge or culvert. The consultant will need to include sidewalk replacement across the proposed platform.
The scope of work includes Design and Engineering, Contract Administration and Inspection Services. Refer to the Deliverables section for further detail.
