Description:
Design and Construction Administration services required to install two (2) - Level 3 EV Fast Chargers and all the electrical infrastructure needed to support this installation. The existing 3 level 2 EV chargers are to remain in place and operational. Design to include electrical meter(s) to monitor the electricity consumption of the EV Chargers. Consultant to analyze the existing electrical supply to the facility and determine if service upgrade is required. Design to include provisions for installation of additional level 3 EV chargers in the future.Design to meet the requirements set out in BGIS document E18EN - SOW Electric Vehicle Existing Feasibility Study Review, Design and Construction Administration.Design to meet the requirements of PSPC Technical Bulletin for fire protection and prevention for EV vehicles.Design to include interconnection of the EV Charger controls with the existing Building Automation System for control and monitoring of the EV Chargers. Please note that the BAS at the facility is in the process of being upgraded.Design to consider accessibility requirements, security requirements to manage vandalism and theft, optimal cable length, requirements for testing of the EV Chargers for conformance with specifications, and warranty requirements.The EV Chargers must be subscription free with no subscription services to use them. Consultant to include the specifications for the EV chargers.All work must be completed by December 17, 2027.
