Description:
PSPC Fire Inspection In the 1st floor CBSA space has identified a second exit is required. During a recent inspection it was mentioned that the second exit could be through the kitchen to the shipping/receiving area, but there are only roll up doors there that don't meet the requirements of NBC foran exit door. Configure CBSA space on the 1st Floor to allow for at least two exits, ensure adequate means of egress to access the exits, and install additional exit signage as required. This would require a door to be installed along with signage in the CBSA loading dock area. Also identified was aService room in the basement that opens directly into the Stairwell near the elevator. The configuration of the space should be modified to ensure the service room does not open directly into the stairwell.All work must be completed by March 26,2027.
