Description : The University of Ottawa is seeking to prequalify qualified fire alarm consultant teams to bid on projects and to act as Prime Consultants for the renewal and /or replacement of various fire alarm systems across Campus. There are approximately 12 buildings where the fire alarm systems are reaching the end of their useful lives and will need renewal in the coming 3-5 years. Companies who submit proposals per the evaluation criteria will be shortlisted to 4 or 5 firms who will be asked to bid on each project as budgets are approved. The lowest compliant bidder for each project will be required to sign an ACEC 31 contract along with the University Supplementary Conditions as outlined in this RFSQ. An optional bidder's briefing is scheduled for November 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m and will be held on-line using Microsoft Teams. Proponents wishing to attend should send their email addresses to prs-proc@uottawa.ca before end of day November 24, 2020 to be invited.
