Description:
The Environmental Utilities (EU) and Municipal Works (MW) Departments have identified a major capital renewal project in the downtown core consisting of the following:
Renewal of deep utilities including water, sanitary, and storm infrastructure along 3 St SE (Division Ave to 5 St) through a staged approach.Enhancement and renewal of surface infrastructure along 3 St SE (Division Ave to 5 St) through a staged approach.Implementation of a major active transportation route along 3 St SE (Division Ave to 4 St) through a staged approach. Conceptual design of the continuation of the major active transportation route along 4 Ave SE (1 St to 3 St). The departments require the services of a consulting engineering firm with experience in water distribution, sanitary collection, storm sewer collection, road rehabilitation, surface enhancements, and active transportation initiatives, to complete conceptual and detailed design where indicated, tendering, community engagement, and construction inspection / administration for the renewal of infrastructure and implementation of surface enhancements.
