Description:
The City of Thunder Bay, Infrastructure & Operations Department, Environment Division, invites Proposals from qualified engineering firms to act as a Consultant for the proposed “Emergency Power Supply Improvements at the Water Pollution Control Plant”. Generally, the project will consist of developing the emergency power requirements for the Plant, reviewing the options to provide emergency power, design of the preferred option and contract administration/construction inspection services.
It is mandatory that the project team contain the following two roles;
Sewage treatment process expertise with demonstrated experience in similar municipal wastewater treatment facilities including ECA Amendment applications.Electrical Engineering with demonstrated experience in emergency power supply, synchronization and switching systems. Proponents must demonstrate these requirements in the Bidding System under Step 2-Submission Requirements “Experience and Qualifications - Experience of Sewage Treatment Process Expert and Electrical Engineer” tables.
