- Description:
- The existing 36,000 sq. ft. fire damaged Victoria Park Arena was demolished in 2021. A new multi-purpose, dry floor facility is planned to be constructed at the same site. The new facility will have a fully accessible dry floor hockey rink to accommodate ball hockey, indoor field hockey and box lacrosse. The upgrades also include a large multi-purpose room, universal change rooms and washrooms, a second story mezzanine with seating for 500 patrons, as well as site improvements and landscaping. The facility will also become home to the new Brampton Sports Hall of Fame.
