Description:
Summary Details:The District requires an experienced dock/pier contractor to construct a new pier at Gordon Beggs Rotary Beach, 14877 Lakeshore Dr S, Summerland, BC V0H 1Z1.

Shoreline Pile Driving & Wharf Construction Ltd. is completing the detailed design for the new pier in consultation with CWMM Consulting Engineers Ltd., which will be provided to Respondents as soon as it becomes available. The footprint of the new pier will be designed to match the Original Pier, but the new pier shall be supported by approximately 51 steel pilings instead of 57 wood pilings with three concrete pillar supports. The pier will be designed without handrails, benches, swim ladder, and other appurtenances. Such additional features may be designed at a later date, in which case construction of said features may be awarded to the Contractor via a contract amendment.
