Description : IPG Photonics (Canada) Inc., a subsidiary of IPG Photonics (NASDAQ:IPGP), intends to construct a 3475 m2 two-storey facility, combining office, R&D, manufacturing, and logistics functions, on 30,000 m2 of vacant land in west Kingston. This call for tenders is to solicit a General Contractor who, under a CCDC-2 Stipulated Price Contract and working with suitable subcontractors, can execute all site works and construction activities required to complete the facility as drawn and specified by IPG and its consultants. IPG Photonics is the world's leading manufacturer of fibre lasers and related technologies, which are in widespread use for advanced manufacturing and material processing applications worldwide. IPG's Canadian team is focused on laser process monitoring and quality control technologies and instruments.
