The County of Simcoe is an upper tier municipality located north of the Greater Toronto Area and is comprised of 16 towns and townships and the separated Cities of Barrie and Orillia.
The County-s programs and essential services include social housing, land ambulance and emergency planning, waste management, public transportation, a County road system, Ontario Works, Lake Simcoe Regional Airport, Children-s Services, Long Term Care and Seniors Services, Museum, Archives, County forest management, Tourism, and land use policy planning.
The County operates 40+ locations, including paramedic stations, roads garages, Ontario works offices, landfill sites and transfer stations, truck maintenance shops, a museum, an archives facility, an administration centre, an airport, numerous social housing sites, and four long-term care homes.
The County of Simcoe is requesting Responses from Applicants interested in placement on the County-s Qualified Supplier List for the provision of General Contracting, Demolition Contractors, and Construction Manager at Risk services for a three-year term.
