- Douglas County, Kansas is soliciting proposals from experienced and qualified construction management companies to work with the County and selected Architect/Engineer through the design, bid, award, and construction phases for the implementation of the Douglas County Master Plan Review & Update/Judicial Law Enforcement Center Remodel Project. The master plan revisit, associated with this project, is under way and will be wrapping up in the summer of 2023 with an anticipated project construction commencement in early to mid 2024.
It is the County’s intention to acquire the services of a dependable Construction Manager (CMR) with a firmly established base of operation which can offer a competitive rate, quality services, experience in working on judicial facilities, phasing of construction work, to meet the County’s construction project needs.
Douglas County Kansas Administration reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals based on responsiveness, past performance, and other contributing factors. Based on the proposals submitted, the County intends to select one construction management company for the purpose of this contract but does not guarantee award of the work.
The term of this contract will be for the duration of the project scope of work as identified in the masterplan revisit work currently in progress. Project design and construction duration is estimated to be 3-4 years at this time.
