SUMMARY:
Through this Request for Proposals, the District of Lake Country invites Proposals from organizations that are experienced in delivering construction projects under the CCDC5B Construction Management Delivery model; to provide Construction Management Services and Work (as defined in the CCDC5B Contract) for the District-s Swalwell Park Pavillion Project.
Project Summary:
Key details of the Swalwell Park Pavillion Project (the “Project”) are as follows:
Project Location: Swalwell Park, 10090 Bottom Wood Lake Road, Lake Country, BC.Current Project Status: the Project currently has 75% of Detailed Design completed, and the District will be completing Detailed Design, plus any required structural engineering through its Consultants. The District intends to have Detailed Design and engineering 100% complete by the time the Construction Manager is selected and the CCDC5B Contract is executed.Overall Project Objective: design and construct an improved park pavilion area, including a new storage building, conversion of existing washroom building to year-round use, new exterior enhancements on existing buildings, and a raised performance stage. The Project will including updates to, and integration with, the existing buildings and stage on-site, as shown on the Drawings.Project Scope Area: the scope of the Project will be all groundwork, buildings, structures, and improvements that are shown on the Drawings in Exhibits A, B, and C. Design Services by Construction Manager: while design and engineering for the Project will be completed by the District-s Consultants; the following minor design scopes will be provided by the Construction Manager as part of the Services and Work:HVAC design, for heating and ventilation systems in the buildings (to be performed by Construction Manager-s chosen HVAC Subcontractor).Electrical design, for electrical systems in the buildings (to be performed by Construction Manager-s chosen Electrical Subcontractor).Lighting desig...
