Description:
The Region of Peel is seeking to retain a qualified Construction Manager (CM) to provide Construction Management and Construction services for the design and construction of a new youth shelter located at 1358 Queen Street West, Brampton, Ontario. The proposed shelter is a 4-storey building accommodating 80 beds with exterior and interior amenity areas for residents and surface parking. The building will also include a staff office area with single offices, meeting rooms and staff lounge. The gross foot area is 2,900m2 and lot area is 2,720.1m2.
The facility will be designed and constructed in accordance with the Region of Peel-s Net Zero Emissions Building Standards, adhering to the requirements of the latest version of CaGBC-s Zero Carbon Building Design Standard.
The CM must have demonstrated reputable experience in constructing multi-unit residential buildings, land development and operating as a CM under the CCDC 5B contract for projects similar in scope, complexity, and size and in leading complex and multi-residential developments as described in the Document.
