Conestoga College - Employee Services Building Renovation Phase 2
Location : Canada, Ontario, Kitchener-Waterloo-Barrie
Job Location : 299 Doon Valley Drive, Kitchener, ON

Description : The project is an interior renovation of the ESB Building, an existing one storey building at Conestoga College Doon Campus. The building will be converted from an existing office building into classrooms and program space for the Massage Therapy Program and is to provide shell space for the Pharmacy Technology Program. The project will consist of two phases: Phase 1 - Demolition and Structural is the first phase and consists of interiors demolition with approximate area of: 1,180 m2. The demolition will include abatement, interiors demolition, and new structural framing. Phase 2 - Massage Therapy Renovation is the second phase and consists of two Massage Therapy Clinics, reception, and storage along with renovated washrooms and public spaces. The renovated areas will be approximately 710 m2 in area. The remainder of the building will remain as shell space for the BYOD classroom and Pharmacy Technology program. The ESB Building will be unoccupied throughout construction until completion in December 2023. As it will be unoccupied there are no restrictions on working hours. There are existing data and IT lines serving other buildings on campus. Data and IT lines serving other buildings are to remain and they need to be functional throughout construction.
