- The Municipality of Casselman is seeking Proposals from qualified proponents to lead a Comprehensive Review and Complete Overhaul of the Official Plan (OP) for the Municipality of Casselman, in accordance with Section 26 of the Planning Act. The OP update is critical to supporting the municipality's evolving needs, fostering sustainable development, and ensuring that policies remain aligned with current legislative requirements and community aspirations. The updated OP will replace the existing plan (adopted in 2008 and amended since), ensuring compliance with the Provincial Policy Statement (PPS), the Official Plan of the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR OP), and other relevant legislation at the provincial, federal, and municipal levels.
