- Brazeau County is requesting proposals from qualified professional firms to perform a Compensation Review of all hourly and salaried County employees. The County employs 75 full-time employees, 25 paid-on call firefighters, and typically 25 temporary and seasonal staff during the summer months. Within our full-time employee complement we have union, non-union, and out of scope employees. With the utilization of market surveys, market research, and comparable position descriptions in a municipal setting, a recommended compensation plan and schedule is required. The compensation plan should incorporate position salaries (including overtime), comprehensive health benefits, defined benefit pension plan, defined contribution pension plan, health and wellness allowances, hours of work, and all accrual banks for time (including vacation, sick, earned time off, and time off in lieu).
