Description : The City of Calgary (“The City”) is seeking a service provider to process and recycle Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFLs) and Long Tube Fluorescent Lamps collected at The City-s Waste Management Facilities (WMFs). The Supplier will provide closed loop recycling of fluorescent lamps collected at The City-s Waste Management Facilities, using their own equipment and proven processes necessary to complete their required work safely and effectively to the required environmental standards . A specific collection and transportation process has already been established and the respondent must adhere to that process while meeting the requirements of the program outlined in greater detail hereafter. The highest rated proponent will be requested to enter an Agreement with The City for the provision of the Deliverables. The term of the Agreement may include a Proof of Concept, with an option in favour of The City to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for an initial term of up to two (2) years.
