Description:
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the District of Squamish (the “District”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan Update, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The District is seeking an experienced and qualified consulting firm with a Registered Professional Forester to execute and provide a Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan (CWRP) for the Area of Interest (AOI) within the allotted timeframe and within the parameters set by Community Resiliency Investment (CRI) program. The AOI interest will cover the legal boundaries of the District.
In addition, the selected consulting firm will also provide future support with ongoing community fire prevention work for the term of the agreement, on an “as, if and when needed” basis.
The District intends to award a single contract to one proponent for the resources sought under this RFP process.
