Description:
The Village of Anmore developed a Community Wildfire Protection Plan in 2007, which is now outdated, and is seeking proposals from qualified consultants with expertise in FireSmart™ principles to develop a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWRP) and complete interim and final reports for UBCM to satisfy the funding agreement for the project. The Area of Interest includes all residential and developed areas within the municipal boundary of the Village, approximately 500 hectares. The final CWRP must be acceptable to the BC Wildfire Service and be completed in accordance with requirements set out by the UBCM-s 2024 Community Resiliency Investment (CRI) program. This includes the use of the 2023 CWRP Template, which outlines the minimum mandatory content for a CWRP, and follow the 2023 CWRP Supplemental Instruction Guide.

Proponents may propose to complete the scope of works with enhancements above minimum mandatory content, where those enhancements provide additional value to the Village of Anmore.
