- The Carriers and the GTAA are looking to enter into an agreement with a Common Handling Company that shall be responsible for providing safe and efficient baggage handling services at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The Handling Company shall be responsible for entering into individual agreements with each participating air carrier.Passenger traffic is expected to grow to approximately 65 million annually by the early 2030s - a figure that takes the airport beyond its 45 million passengers in 2023. Proponents are asked to price their bid on this expected growth.
