Description:
The Corporation of the City of Mississauga (the “City”) invites Bids from qualified Bidders to provide Commodity Tax and Accounts Payable Advisory and Payment Recovery Services.
The City intends to award the contract up to two Bidders:
The highest scored Bidder will be the “Primary Consultant”. The Primary Consultant will provide complete review of the Commodity Tax (harmonized sales tax (HST) and Accounts Payable.The second highest scored Bidder will be the “Secondary Consultant”. The Secondary Consultant will conduct a secondary review of the commodity tax and accounts payable subsequent to the work conducted by the Primary Consultant. This Secondary Consultant will ensure all opportunities are identified and captured; provide feedback to the City; and complete work if approved by the City. Work for the Secondary Consultant is not guaranteed and will be on “as needed basis”.Refer to Appendix C - Statement of Work for more project details.
The Contract with the successful Bidder(s) (Consultant) will be for a three (3) year term and may be extended at the sole discretion of the City for up to an additional three (3) year term under the same terms and conditions. The contract extension, if any, is subject to satisfactory performance of the Consultant and successful negotiations of both parties.
All pricing (including supplementary pricing) shall remain firm for duration of the three (3) year contract term. Consultant-s fees will be paid out of any recovery claim...
