- The City of Waterloo is seeking proposals from qualified engineering consultants to undertake the addendum to the 2017 Class EA. The study is to investigate current (i.e. any changes to) environmental, social, and economic opportunities and constraints for the provision of transportation-related corridor improvements and evaluate their impacts, if any, on the preferred alternative recommended by the 2017 study. The study limits will remain the same - i.e. Columbia/Lexington between King Street North and Davenport Road. Principally, the purpose of the 2017 study was to undertake traffic operational, road safety and active transportation improvements to the Columbia/Lexington corridor, and this objective remains the same for the addendum.
