Description:
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs seeks a third-party Vendor to develop a Code and Construction Guide for Farm Buildings and a Half-day Training Material The Ministry has identified 10 key deliverables for this project: 1. Workplan: Detailed workplan including milestones, resources, project staff, communication, and quality control plans. 2. Report on Compiling Code Requirements: Scan, identify and compile all Building Code requirements 3. Report Explaining Code Requirements: Prepare a report explaining key Building Code requirements. 4. Stakeholder Engagement: Establish a group of stakeholders that have relevant experience. 5. Report on Current Practices and Compliance Methods: Jurisdictional scan and determine various practices and designs. 6. Report on Illustrated Compliance Options: Illustrate compliance options for different design and construction scenarios. 7. Draft Code and Construction Guide: Development of the draft Guide 8. Draft Half-day Training Material: Development of draft Training Material (including student workbook, facilitator's version of the workbook, and presentation slides) 9. Final Code and Construction Guide and Final Half-day Training Material: Development of Final Guide and final Half-day Training Material 10. Close-Out/Knowledge Transfer: Conduct a close-out meeting. The project is expected to run approximately from late July 2025 to mid-January 2026.
