- Colliers are seeking a highly experienced Architectural Prime Consultant to join our collaborative team to complete an urgent and accelerated project. The project requires immediate attention, with site mobilization anticipated within April and Substantial Performance required by November 20, 2026. The successful consultant and partnered engineers will work closely with our team, the future Construction Manager, and vendors to deliver the required design packages, overall project oversight and contract administration.This project consists of the design and construction of a new 21,600sqft Tensile Membrane Structure (TMS), 7,000sqft exterior covered yard area and 10- x 300- link tunnel connection from the jail proper to the new TMS. The project will also consist of minor interior jail proper upgrades to ancillary spaces such as videoing capabilities within the lobby and minor expansions to the existing kitchen, dry goods storage and admit/discharge area to accommodate the increase in capacity the project is providing. This project will take place at the existing Central North Correctional Centre (CNCC) 1501 Fuller Ave, Penetanguishene, ON.For this project, Design and Construction activities are required to overlap in order to meet the aggressive delivery schedule. Therefore, the project will proceed with a construction manager approach to work in parallel with the Prime Consultant to deliver the project via multiple construction packages completed at coordinated times.
