- The Information Management Services (IMS) section of Correctional Service Canada (CSC) requires the services of senior Informatics professional resources with knowledge and experience in supporting and assisting with Protected B-compliant Cloud Engineering, Architecture, Deployment, Security and System Administration, in accordance with the Government of Canada (GC) directives and policies for Cloud-based GC Services (https://www.canada.ca/en/government/system/digital-government/digital-g…).
This Contract is to provide delivery assistance for CSC-s IMS Cloud Strategy two main objectives to be met in the coming years.
The first objective is modernizing CSC-s Cloud development and provisioning approach by leveraging Infrastructure as Code and Development - Security - Operations (DevSecOps) best practices. This will involve a redesign of some foundational services and a new Azure Core Platform landing zone deployment. The end goal is secure, repeatable, and predictable patterns that will be leveraged to accelerate CSC-s application migrations to the public Cloud.
The second objective is to migrate CSC-s existing national applications to the public Cloud, with an initial target of migrating 25 percent. CSC will derive numerous benefits for Canada-s security from modernizing CSC applications and moving them to the Cloud, including:
