- The objective of this RSA is to enter Standing Arrangements with Contractors who can provide claims adjusting services, on an if, and when requested basis. The Claims Adjusters will be required to provide services for the adjustment of property and liability claims (including, but not limited to, personal injury property, boiler and machinery, crime, fiduciary) as described in greater detail, in section 3 and relevant appendices.
Claims Adjusters, at the time the services are to be performed, will be required to be licensed by the Insurance Council of British Columbia to practice at a minimum of “Insurance Adjuster Level 2” as further described in section 3. This RSA is not intended to secure Standing Arrangements with Claims Adjusters practicing primarily in the area of public adjusting.
Interested Suppliers are invited to submit a Response to this RSA for the opportunity to be evaluated and determined whether they are eligible to be invited to enter into a Standing Arrangement (see Appendix A (Form of Standing Arrangement)).
The Province anticipates entering into Standing Arrangements with all Respondents who meet the mandatory requirements and minimum scores.
The anticipated term of the Standing Arrangements is for a duration of three (3) years with an option to extend the Standing Arrangements at the Province-s sole discretion for a period of up to two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each.
