Sealed Proposals shall be received by the City-s e-Procurement website bidsandtendersTM for the above referenced RFQ before 3:00 PM EST local time, Thursday, May 2nd, 2024. Interested parties shall submit packages to: https://www.tamarac.org/bids for the following project:
Citywide Security Systems Upgrade (Phase II) - Step 1
The City of Tamarac is seeking to engage qualified firms to submit qualifications (RFQ-s) for Phase II of its Citywide Security Systems Upgrade. Phase II includes fiber and network cabling; replacement and installation of security cameras, card readers, etc., and configuration of said equipment in the City-s Genetec Security Center security system software. The project estimate is $720,000.00.
The work includes all professional services, labor, equipment, materials, insurance, obtaining all applicable permits, necessary supervision, and incidentals to complete the project as specified herein. All proposed work shall be completed in accordance with the project documents, plans, details, technical specifications / scope of work and all applicable federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements.
Proposers are required to complete the qualifications stage through this RFQ process (Step 1) to qualify to submit proposals for the aforementioned project as part of the Request for Proposals (RFP) (Step 2).
