Description:
City of Prince George (the "City”) is seeking proposals from qualified Suppliers who can demonstrate the appropriate experience, knowledge and availability needed to provide a summarization and update the City-s past performance on wildfire management. The Supplier will develop an action plan for additional forest fire fuel treatments, updated wildfire risk information and public education to address wildfires while considering climate change and the economic, social and environmental consequences. This project will be completed concurrently with a Fuel Management Prescription (FMP) at Shane Lake. Both projects are highly similar and completing them concurrently will result in increased efficiencies.
This solicitation may lead to sequential or concurrent negotiations with one or more Proponents offering the most advantageous proposal(s), or to the creation of a Contract without negotiations.
