Description:
The City of Edmonton (the “City”) invites bidders to submit bids for this Sourcing Event for the provision of rail grinding services for its Light Rail Transit (LRT) system to maintain track integrity, minimize noise, and ensure a smooth ride for passengers. Regular rail grinding is essential to prevent the development of rail surface defects that can lead to costly repairs, service disruptions, and potential safety hazards. The Work to be performed by the successful bidder is outlined in the Description of Work document attached to the Form of Agreement Section in the SAP Ariba platform. Intended term of Contract: 3 years, commencing June 2, 2025 and in the City-s sole discretion may extend the term on the same terms and conditions for up to 4 additional years. The length of any extension(s) will be at the City-s sole discretion.
