Description:
The Southeast Transit Garage is planned to be an up to 430forty-foot equivalent emissions neutral facility able to store andmaintain a fully zero emission fleet. The garage is planned to includea mix of zero emission technology, including both Fuel Cell ElectricBuses (FCEB) and Battery Electric Buses (BEB). The finaldetermination of Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) technology will beinformed by results from the City-s current BEB deployment andFCEB pilot project and will be confirmed during the preconstructionstage of the project.The project delivery method will be Construction Management atRisk (CMAR) which is recognised for collaboration between allmembers of the Project team during the pre-construction,construction, and post construction stages. This collaborationincludes activities such as design reviews, constructability and valueanalysis/engineering, development of the tender process as well asother key objectives as identified in the Contract.
