- Description:
- For the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment required to provide General Contracting Services for projects ranging in value from $10,000 to $5,000,000 on City of Edmonton Transportation Facilities. Transportation Facilities are considered to be any structure or asset required for the movement of people, goods, and services by motor vehicle, active modes, or light rail. This may include but not be limited to projects on pedestrian bridges, roadway bridges, retaining walls, culverts, noise attenuation walls, guardrail, trails, and concrete barriers. The work is to primarily involve renewal of existing assets, but may include new construction where required. Minor roadway construction may be included in the scope of individual projects as required to facilitate work on a structural asset. Tasks may include but are not limited to:Culvert renewal or installation;Guardrail renewal or installation;Minor Roadway bridge renewal or installation;Pedestrian bridge renewal or installation;Retaining wall renewal or installation;Noise attenuation wall renewal or installation;Concrete traffic barrier renewal or installation;Geotechnical structure renewal or installation; and/orOther transportation structures defined in the Call-Up documents.
