- The City of Calgary is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide multi-disciplinary engineering services for the East Calgary Sanitary Lift Station Improvements Project. The purpose of this project is to address safety and operational concerns to meet current and future servicing requirements. At the same time, to ensure compliance with the latest edition of applicable Federal, Provincial, and Local regulatory and technical requirements as well as industry best practices.The East Calgary Sanitary Lift Station was constructed in 1956 and although it has had improvements made over the years, there are still a number of operational challenges accompanied with the age of the infrastructure. The successful completion of this assignment will require a wide range of technical expertise in engineering assessment and design of sanitary lift stations, as well as qualifications for safety and hazard investigation, risk mitigation, cost analysis, and multi-criteria decision analysis.This project anticipates the following Phases:Phase 1 - Engineering Assessment and Options EvaluationPhase 2 - Preliminary DesignPhase 3 - Detailed Design and Construction Procurement PreparationPhase 4 - Construction Engineering SupportPhase 5 - Commissioning and Post-Construction SupportUnless otherwise stated in the Agreement Letter, the initial award under this RFP will be for Phase 1 of the Requirements, and progressing to subsequent phases will be subject to approval by The City and Consultant perf...
