Description : The Ottawa Hospital on behalf of the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association (EORLA) is seeking proposals for the provision of Chemical and Microscopic Urinalysis Analyzers, including the Goods and Services as listed in the RFP and the related Scope of Work described in Appendix A. EORLA intends to qualify one (1) proponent for each of the following categories (Category 1- Chemical In-Lab, Category 2 - Chemical POCT and Category 3 - Microscopic In-Lab). Proponents may be qualified for more than one Category. EORLA reserves the right not to award any of the categories at its own discretion. Currently there is a mix of high, mid and low volume analyzers at the various EORLA sites depending on site volume. Most EORLA sites have a combination of in-laboratory testing and point of care testing (POCT) and hence the final instrument and reagent configurations required should meet the needs of the variety of laboratory-based analysis as well at POCT testing. The term of the Agreement is intended to be for a period of seven (7) years with an option to extend the term of the agreement for up to twenty-four (24) months.
