- The HEP Legacy fleet has exceeded its expected performance and investments are required on critical systems and structures to keep the fleet in service while maintaining operational efficiency and reliability. As part of the HEP Repair Program, Lot 2b - Chateau & Manor - Structural & System repairs aims to address Structural repairs and Systems repairs / obsolescence such as Electrical, Interior, Carbody, etc… on 19 HEP1 Chateau cars and 39 HEP1 Manor cars, for a total of 58 cars. This project is intended to be awarded to an external Contractor for the production of all 58 HEP1 Chateau & Manor cars.Note : Related TendersA separate Invitation to Tender (202409006 - Baggage - Structural & System Repairs) has been issued on MERX in December 2024 for the same type of services. It involves 16 Baggage cars.
