Description:
The Lakeland College Department of Athletics requires a charter bus service to transport its athletic teams to a variety of competitions across Alberta and Saskatchewan for the 2024 to 2026 seasons. Lakeland College is seeking a vendor who can provide charter bus services as listed below, with the following criteria: 1. minimum of a 50-passenger coach style bus with restroom, air conditioning, multiple plug ins for electronics, reclining seats, TV monitors, and Wi Fi that can be used by multiple users at one time. 2.There may be occasions where two or three buses are required on the same day/weekend depending on how many teams are travelling. Travel is predominantly on the weekends Thursday evening - Sunday with the length of the trips ranging from day trips to 4 overnights. 3.The successful bidder must carry a minimum liability policy of 5 million dollars. 4.The successful bidder must also carry a 6c endorsement on their insurance policy. 5.The successful bidder must also be able to travel in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. 6.The contract length will be for three years, beginning approximately July 1, 2024. 7.All trips will start in and return to Lloydminster, AB.
