Description:
The purpose of this Request for Expressions of Interest and Statements of Qualifications (the "RFEOI/SOQ") is a 2-stage procurement process and comprises of: An invitation by Centre Block Phase 1 Joint Venture ("CB1-JV") on behalf of the City of Surrey (the "City"), Simon Fraser University ("SFU") and their respective affiliates (collectively "Joint Venturers") for responses (each, a "Response") from interested and qualified parties (each a "Respondent") indicating their interest in and qualifications to provide the provision of Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for the Lot 1 Building of the Centre Block Development in the City of Surrey for a proposed combined office building and school of medicine (the "Project"), and After identification of a shortlist of Respondents to be available to participate in a subsequent procurement phase (the "Request for Proposals" or "RFP") for the Project, which the CB1-JV in its sole discretion, may elect to undertake.The successful Proponent of the 2 stage RFP will serve in the capacity of CMAR on behalf of CB1-JV, and, as may be requested, by SFU and the City.
