Description:
The RFP is an invitation to submit offers for The Supply and Install of a Cell Colony Picker for Biotherapeutic Antibody Development.
Biotherapeutics, typified by monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) targeting protein kinases or immune checkpoints, have demonstrated exceptional efficacies on many diseases.
Our goal is to obtain a suite of equipment including a mammalian cell colony picker capable of automating the growth, expression and initial purification of recombinant proteins and antibodies in our workflows related to cell line screening and protein production from mammalian cells.
The proposed instrumentation will be integrated into the multi-user Western Biotherapeutics Centre in the Department of Biochemistry at Western. This brand-new research core will enable us to discover and develop first-in-class therapeutic mAbs and biologics.
This instrumentation suite will allow us to screen and pick mammalian cell colonies or sort single-cells for antibody production in a high-throughput manner, and then expand the cells from pilot to 30 L for generating ...
