Climate Change Analysis

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy, Climate Action Secretariat, is intending to direct award a contract for the following proposed work/service:
- To provide design information and cost data to validate the cost and performance, and design specification of major equipment and utility requirements for commercial stage amine-based post-combustion carbon capture units for different flue gas conditions and captures relevant to B.C. industrial sectors, so that they can be embedded into NRCan's National CCUS Assessment Framework.
-The contract deliverables include:
o Simplified process flow diagram showing process configuration and major equipment.
o Stream specifications (flow rate, temperature, pressure and composition) at the carbon capture boundary limits.
o Utility energy consumption including type of heating fluid and cooling fluid (water and/or air) as well as power requirement.
o Costs associated with amine unit and its replacement.
o For each major equipment, include: sizing and equipment cost, in CAD.
The proposed work/service is to be carried out by Delta CleanTech Inc.(Delta) at a contract price of $ 47,000.
The anticipated term of the contract is from February 4st, 2022 to March 31st, 2022.
