Description : The University of Waterloo has posted three RFPs for closed-circuit television (CCTV) Devices that have a very specific purpose as a reading Device for use by a person who has a visual impairment. There are three (3) separate RFPs for Multifunction CCTVs (RFP 23-055) Desktop CCTVs (RFP 23-056) and Portable CCTVs (RFP 23-057). Devices must have been especially designed as an assistive Device. Up to six (6) Devices, including a to be determined combination of Multifunction, Desktop and Portable Devices will be purchased for use in the Ontario Ministry of Health-s Assistive Devices Program (ADP) Sight Enhancement Equipment Pool (SEEPAC) for lease to eligible Ontario residents.
