Description:
Selective demolition and redevelopment of existing basement spaces to accommodate a new MRI unit with supporting spaces at CancerCare Manitoba MacCharles Building comprising of the following: Architectural Finishes (GWB partitions, ceilings & acoustics, flooring, millwork, aluminum glazed systems, patient lift systems, RF shielding, etc.). Structural Elements (reinforcing of existing structure, underpinning piling, construction of concrete MRI delivery shaft into sub-basement level, steel chiller support structure, etc.). Mechanical Systems (selective demolition and redevelopment of plumbing, HVAC and fire protection systems to suit new layouts). Electrical Systems (selective demolition and redevelopment of lighting, power, & data systems, modifications to existing power, data, exit & emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems to suit new layouts). Supply & installation of a Siemens MAGNETON Vida 3.0 Tesla unit by Siemens Healthcare Limited.The work will be performed in three (3) concurrent phases while the Owner will occupy parts of the adjacent spaces.
