Project Description : Casual charter contracts are issued to interested and qualified companies with the rates fixed by the Government of Alberta. There is no guarantee of work. Aircraft company vendors have an opportunity to bid on services provided from one or all of the potential bases listed within the Peace Region (Figure 1). Contracts will be valid for one year expiring March 31, 2022.Light or intermediate rotor-wing aircraft may be casually chartered for, but not limited to, the following operations:• Emergency operations• Flood• Derailment• Emergency spills or activities related to those operations• Land use inspections• Dam inspections• Critical problem wildlife occurrences• Fish and wildlife assessments• Monitoring activities
