• Caribou Energy Park Ltd. seeks pricing from qualified contractors for asphalt paving works along the existing industrial gravel road (10.0 m nominal width) within the Fort McKay Industrial Park/Caribou Energy Park.
  Electronic bids will be received through Bids and Tenders (https://ae-ab.bidsandtenders.ca) up to 2:00 PM local time on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Bids submitted after the online bidding system closing time will not be accepted by the online bidding system. The time as indicated by the declining time clock on the online bidding system shall be the official time for closing.
  Contract Documents will be available on Bids and Tenders (https://ae-ab.bidsandtenders.ca) on or after Monday, March 9, 2026. Bidders are required to check for any updated information and addenda issued before the closing date and time using Bids and Tenders (https://ae-ab.bidsandtenders.ca).
  The Work is comprised of the construction of asphalt paving works along the existing industrial gravel road (10.0 m nominal width) within the Fort McKay Industrial Park/Caribou Energy Park, and includes, but is not limited to:
  Traffic control.Geotechnical investigations, including test holes to confirm minimum gravel thickness of existing road structure.Scarify, reshape and compact the existing surface prior to paving, including importing granular base material as required.Industrial Road paving with 120 mm (or 170 mm where specified) of new asphalt over the existing gravel base, including tie-ins to existing and new property accesses.Supply and install bollards around existing fire hydrants.Supply and install CB barrels around water valves.Remove, supply and install 300 mm CSP culverts as shown in the drawings.Clean, clear and regrade ditches.Paving the Tumbleweeds parking lot (Subject to further review with the contractor).Each work item shall include all labour, equipment, materials, hauling, disposal, and all incidentals required to complete the Work.
