- Town of Canmore is carrying out a major project, Railway Avenue Central, at Railway Avenue and Main Street. Scope of work includes civil, landscaping and electrical. Civil work consists of demolishing of existing infrastructure, replacing existing watermain and sanitary sewer, storm infrastructure replacements/renovations, constructing concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, red concrete bike path, asphalt mixed use path, asphalt road, regulatory paint markings, and signage. Landscape scope includes planting, street furnishing, and site restoration. Electrical work includes supply and installation of streetlights, traffic signals and associated hardware.
