Description:
The Strathcona Regional District (the “Regional District”) leases a portion of the building located at 261-B Larwood Road, known locally as the Campbell River Search and Rescue Hall. As this building functions as an Emergency Operation Centre the Regional District intends to install a backup generator for use during extended power outages. To accomplish this the Regional District is inviting qualified vendors to supply and install a: • Discover AES-48 volt, 15kwh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery system to connect to take the emergency plan load; • Single Schnieder Conext XW 6448 inverter/charger system; • Kohler 48kw propane generator; • 500-gallon propane tank; and • 250A automatic transfer switch. SITE INSPECTION Proponents are required to inspect the facility at 261 Larwood Road, Campbell River BC. The group facility site inspection will be Tuesday May 14th, 2024 at 6:00pm unless Proponents have previously viewed the facility with CRSAR. The onsite visit is to provide interested Proponents with: • A circuit breakdown of the facility; • Emergency panel loads; and • Space requirements. Photographs will be permitted during the site inspections
