CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking a comprehensive Offer for the provision of camera lenses, satisfying the detailed requirements. This RFSO initiative is for sourcing camera lenses for ENG/EFP (Electronic New Gathering / Electronic Field Production) and Studio cameras.An Agreement resulting from this RFX may potentially be for three years with two irrevocable option(s) to extend for one year period(s).1. SUMMARY OF REQUIRED GOODS/SERVICES:The successful Supplier(s) will have the opportunity to supply the new 4K/UHD graded camera lenses to be deployed in all CBC/Radio-Canada production locations across Canada as well as the Corporation-s foreign News bureaus, potentially over the next 5 years. CBC/Radio Canada has already started the process of refreshing its ENG/EFP and Studio cameras inventory to achieve full 4k/UHD production capabilities and UHD-TV migration.CBC/Radio Canada is now in the process of replacing its aging ENG/EFP pool of camera lenses for production facilities across the country.In addition, CBC/Radio-Canada is also in the process of replacing Studio lenses for general television productions in Montréal and Toronto stations.2.
