- The total length of the road to be brushed under this Agreement is approximately 66 kilometers on both sides from the Start of Caithness Road up to the Oba Road. The Caithness Road is classified as "forest access roads", which is defined as: roads located on public land not owned by a municipalityand not dedicated and accepted as, or otherwise deemed at law to be, a public highway, which serve as a motor vehicle access route to one or more parcels of land. The first part of the work site commences on Caithness Road at kilometer 0 of the Kendall/Way Township line, and proceeds through Shetland,Orkney, Caithness, Scholfield, Pelletier, and ends at the intersection of Oba Road for a distance of 66 km. This is a service contract until November 1, 2025. The objective of brushing is to increase the line of sight for traffic by reducing and cutting the vegetation on theroadsides.
