Description : This Request for Tender is being issued by the Vancouver Island Health Authority (“Island Health”) as it is seeking tenders from qualified bidders to complete the DHW System Renewal project at Cairnsmore Place, located at 250 Cairnsmore Street, Duncan, BC, (“the Project.”) The scope includes the replacement of the hot water heating boilers and DHW boilers. Existing boilers consist of two fire tube boilers providing the hot water heating and DHW. This project will be to replace existing boilers with high efficiency boilers serving the hot water heating and DHW loads separately. The project also includes the addition of bi-passes to radiators in patient rooms to allow temperature control. The heaters are currently plumbed in series. Mandatory Site Visit All contractors are required to examine site prior to tender document submission.
