Description:
Douglas County, Kansas is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide Building Commissioning (Cx) Services from a Commissioning Authority (CxA) for three construction projects currently underway: the Judicial Law Enforcement Center addition & the Judicial Law Enforcement Center renovation/remodel, both located at 111 E 11th St, Lawrence, KS 66044, and the Public Safety Building located at 3605 E. 25th St, Lawrence, KS 66046. The CxA will serve as an objective and independent advocate for the County. Working with Treanor (Architect), Smith & Boucher (MEPF Engineer), JE Dunn (Construction Manager), and County staff to document and confirm that the new and remodeled facilities fulfill the functional and performance requirements of the County, occupants, operators, and meets or exceeds selected building rating system requirements.
