Description:
The Water Security Agency (WSA) is providing this notice of an anticipated public procurement opportunity for interested Engineering Consultants. This notice is not a formal solicitation but is intended as an early notification to assist in advanced planning efforts. It is WSA-s intent to post a public procurement competition on SaskTenders which requires an Engineering Consultant to develop a preliminary and detailed design to reinstate the stability of the downstream embankment of Buffalo Pound Dam. WSA is anticipating that the SaskTenders competition posting would be active for a minimum of four (4) weeks to ensure adequate time for submission preparation in July or August of 2025 Description of the work: • Recent inspections have determined that the Buffalo Pound is experiencing erosion and seepage on the downstream embankment along with settlement on the crest. The work required is to rehabilitate the embankment by repairing the erosion, settlement, and seepage issues. • High level scope includes: o Project management o Site investigation o Development of a preliminary and detailed design o Permitting o Cost Estimation and Procurement Package
